There are three types of personnel records that can be created in Cerely: Employee, Contractor, and External Employee. Each personnel type has a different setup process depending on how the worker is engaged and managed within your business.
Employee
An Employee is a worker employed directly by your business and paid through your internal payroll setup.

A Contractor is an individual engaged to provide services independently and will have different financial and employment settings from an internal employee.
